Implementation and Distribution of Sub-Grants for North Shore Watershed Flood Mitigation

The County of Kaua'i selected Hale Halawai 'Ohana O Hanalei (501C3), through an RFP process, to manage the implementation and financial distribution of $7,285,000 for North Shore Watershed Flood Mitigation Sub-grants. This initiative aims to provide multiple sub-grants to nonprofit organizations, enabling them to undertake projects aimed at minimizing damage from future flooding events through various structural and nonstructural measures, interventions, and investments.
